Ada & Albert is putting 15 young carers through a 'Champions 4 Change' course thanks to the hard work and big hearts of the juniors at Bromley High School.

Austen House at Bromley High School Juniors held a Charity Bake Sale in April 2018, where the children baked cakes, cupcakes and biscuits to take into the school.

An impressive £250 was raised on the day, helping Ada & Albert reach its total fundraising goal of £500 for the project. This included £100 that was donated to the event by local marketing consultancy business, Forward Enterprise.

Ada & Albert is using these vital donations to pay for 15 local children, all of whom act as carers for their parents, to attend an upcoming 'Champions 4 Change' course.

Champions 4 Change uses boxing and mentoring as a vehicle for encouraging positive change in young people, empowering them to become the best possible versions of themselves through structured training and development.

The course is designed to improve their health and wellbeing, while also building confidence and self-esteem.
