This meant her children were having to eat their meals on the sofa or the floor. By providing the family with a dining table and chairs, they now have a space to enjoy meals together, as well as a place for homework and other activities.

They were relying on their local food bank for support but found it difficult to prepare meals at home. By providing them with a new cooker, the family can now cook their meals with ease, making life a little more convenient and affordable for them.

We provided a new bed, bedding, a washing machine, fridge/freezer, and a cooker, ensuring he had everything he needed to feel settled and take his next steps in life.

…many children who rely on school meals face food insecurity and with rising food costs, parents often struggle to provide regular, nutritious meals. By partnering with Living Well, we developed a program to ensure children are well-fed throughout the summer, offering them a hot meal and a takeaway food parcel to support families during this challenging time.
